Scenario Planning and Rapid Response Guide

The Scenario Planning and Rapid Response Guide, created by the SLSV Coalition, walks users through a series of steps and guiding questions to help campus vote coordinators adjust their nonpartisan electoral engagement action plans to account for unexpected challenges and opportunities that would force them to alter planned strategies and tactics. This resource can be used to plan ahead for potential scenarios, or as guidance for rapid response as scenarios arise.

In addition to research-backed steps and guidance, this resource provides several examples of how nonpartisan student vote coalitions have adapted to unexpected circumstances at a variety of higher education institutions throughout the US.

How would a campus best use this resource?
Use this framework to adapt campus strategies and resources to meet the moment to ensure that the important work of nonpartisan voter engagement does not stall or stop on campuses across the country.
