Ask Every Student Toolkit

Ask Every Student (AES) is a national joint initiative that facilitates collaboration between and among campus leaders and nonprofit partners to help campuses Ask Every Student to participate in the democratic process and achieve full student voter participation. AES uses the framework that full student voter participation can be achieved through the creation and facilitation of effective, sustainable efforts to help students navigate the democratic process, beginning with voter registration embedded into universal, pre-existing campus structures, such as orientation or mandatory classes. Launched in 2020 by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, Campus Vote Project, NASPA, and the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition, AES works with 14 nonprofit organizations and more than 180 campuses nationwide. The Ask Every Student Toolkit is a growing resource of strategies, tools, and tactics that are designed to assist campus leaders in implementing full student voter registration strategies on their campuses.
